SpendDial ("the App") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use SpendDial.

SpendDial is designed as an offline personal finance management application. Your financial information is stored locally on your device and SpendDial does not operate a remote backend server to collect, store, or sell your personal financial information.

Information You Enter

SpendDial allows you to voluntarily enter information required for its financial management features, including:

• Email address
• Mobile number
• Transaction names
• Transaction amounts
• Debit and credit information
• Categories
• Transaction dates
• Sender and receiver details
• Loan titles
• Borrowed and lent loan information
• Loan amounts and remaining balances
• Loan payment information
• Loan due dates
• Notes entered by you
• Reminder and application preferences

This information is provided by you voluntarily when you use the corresponding features of the App.

How Your Information Is Used

Information entered into SpendDial is used solely to provide the features of the App, including:

• Managing your personal expense and income records.
• Managing debit and credit transactions.
• Organizing transactions by category.
• Searching and filtering financial records.
• Calculating balances and financial summaries.
• Generating charts and financial reports.
• Managing borrowed and lent loans.
• Recording full, half, and custom loan payments.
• Calculating remaining loan balances.
• Tracking loan due dates.
• Providing local loan reminder notifications when enabled.
• Generating PDF reports of your financial records.

Local Data Storage

Your financial records are stored locally on your Android device using the App's local storage/database system.

SpendDial does not upload your transaction records, loan information, payment information, categories, notes, or other financial records to a SpendDial-operated remote server.

SpendDial does not maintain a cloud database containing your personal financial records.

No Sale of Personal Information

SpendDial does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

SpendDial does not use your financial records for advertising, personalized advertising, or selling information to advertisers.

No Third-Party Financial Data Collection

SpendDial does not connect to your bank accounts, credit cards, payment accounts, or other financial accounts.

SpendDial does not automatically collect your bank transactions or financial information from external financial institutions.

Notifications and Loan Reminders

SpendDial can provide local notifications and loan reminders when you enable the relevant feature.

These reminders are generated by the application on your device. They are not dependent on a SpendDial cloud server or Firebase Cloud Messaging.

You can control notification permissions and settings through your Android device and the available settings within the App.

PDF Reports and Sharing

SpendDial can generate PDF reports containing the financial information you choose to include.

PDF reports remain under your control. If you choose to share or send a generated report using another application, the information will be handled according to the privacy practices of that application.

SpendDial does not control information after you intentionally share it with another application, person, or service.

Internet and Network Access

SpendDial is designed to provide its core expense, transaction, category, loan, payment, reporting, and reminder functionality without requiring an internet connection.

SpendDial does not use a remote backend to upload or maintain your financial records.

Data Security

SpendDial is designed to keep your financial information locally on your device and does not transmit your financial records to a SpendDial server.

The security of locally stored information also depends on the security of your Android device. We recommend protecting your device with a secure screen lock and keeping your Android system up to date.

While we take reasonable measures within the App to protect locally stored information, no electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Data Deletion

Because your financial records are stored locally, you can manage and delete your records using the features provided within the App.

Uninstalling the App or clearing its application data may permanently remove locally stored information, subject to Android device backup or restoration features that you have enabled on your device.

SpendDial does not retain a separate cloud copy of your financial records.

Children's Privacy

SpendDial is a general-purpose personal finance application and is not specifically directed toward children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a remote server or backend because SpendDial does not operate such a backend for collecting user financial information.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the App, its features, or applicable legal requirements.

Any changes will be published on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
